Texans Cross CountryTeam
The Wimberley Texan Cross Country team is coming off one of the strongest seasons in the past decade, with great accomplishments by two District Champions and State Qualifiers (Ashlyn Royal and Craig Huey). Both the boys and girls teams have qualified for the Regional Meet in the past three seasons, and the team looks to repeat that success in the 2018 season. With a new UIL district alignment, qualifying for regionals in Corpus Christi will be a challenge, but the Texans are ready to run and keep the tradition alive.
The Texans Swim Team
The WHS Swim & Dive Team has provided Wimberley and young athlete swimmers a great opportunity to compete as well as insprire their classmates even without a pool in Wimberley (yes they travel to one)! Since it's inception with only one swimmer in 2005, to a multi-swimmer team in 2006 and onward, the Texans Swim & Dive team continues to be a place for young swimmers to participate and excel.  With one District Championship in the record books the WHS team has advanced swimmers to the Regional Championships every year since 2005, as well as a number of Texans qualifying to represent WHS at the UIL Texas State Swim & Dive Championships over the years.  They're ready to hit the water, put in the work and make the 2018/19 season one of the best yet.
